![]() ![]() ![]() Preliminary investigation indicates that the occupants of two vehicles were shooting at each other. These same two vehicles fled the area west on Broadway and again shots were fired in the area of Main Street between Moreland Street and Fremont Street where police recovered an additional 16 shell casings. No injuries were reported. The storefront glass of several businesses and numerous parked cars sustained damage after being struck by stray bullets. Upon arrival, officers located approximately 16 shell casings on the street. On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at approximately 9:02 p.m., Somerville Police responded to the area of 31 Temple Street for reports of shots fired.
